Check with the venue for special packages for off peak times. If you choose to limit your drinks to beer and wine then it will cut down your costs. Having the reception in an outdoor setting can cost more if you need to hire things like chairs, tables, marquee, crockery etc. than if you choose a place that is ready to go.

When it comes to clothing you can consider hiring a wedding dress or maybe you have someone who is able to make it for you. See if you can find a dress on sale. There are some online stores offering wedding dresses at good prices. Formal wear for the men can be hired. Do your research and look out for deals.

When it comes to your guest list keep in mind that the more people you invite the more your wedding will cost.
